Two Chelsea youngsters, Patrick van Aanholt (pictured) and Josh McEachran, have today completed loan moves away from the club until the end of the season.
Patrick, 21, joins Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem while Josh, 18, has joined Barclays Premier League club Swansea City.
The England Under 21 midfielder, 18, has appeared five times in our colours this season, most recently as a late substitute in the 2-1 win at Wolves on January 2.
A talented ball-player with excellent vision and ball retention skills, Josh made his debut early last season away at MSK Zilina in the Champions League and went on to appear 17 times.
Oxford-born Josh signed a five-year deal with Chelsea in the summer and now links up with Brendan Rodgers, former reserve team manager at Stamford Bridge, in South Wales.
The Swans have earned new friends this season with their short passing style, and McEachran will be hoping to contribute towards their continued success in their first Barclays Premier League season.
He will not be eligible to play against us in our game at the Liberty Stadium on January 31.
Patrick spent the first half of this season in the English top flight with Wigan Athletic, but appeared just four times after struggling to break into a side at the foot of the table, and did not feature beyond early October.
The left-back, a Dutch Under 21 international, has so far appeared eight times in Chelsea's first team, three times in the league.
Having come through the youth and reserve sides, he made his debut in March 2010 following successful loans with Coventry City and Newcastle United in the Championship.
He netted a first Chelsea goal in September 2010 in a Carling Cup tie against Newcastle, before joining Leicester City on loan for the remainder of last season, scoring once in 12 outings.
Patrick signed a new four-year deal with Chelsea in May 2011, and links up with fellow Blues youngsters Tomas Kalas and Ulises Davila in Holland.
